Family and friends are stepping up the search for a missing teenager who hasn't been seen in more than four days.

On Sunday, they will pass out flyers near Perry Elementary School with a picture of Naketa Leiba on them.

The 17-year-old hasn't been seen since Wednesday when she was getting off her school bus on Southwest 34th Street in Miramar.

Leiba's mom told police she told her daughter to walk home from the bus, but she never made it.

Leiba was last seen wearing a red Abercrombie short sleeve shirt and jeans.  She has short black hair.

Her mother said she does not have a history of running away.

Miramar police want anyone with information to call them immediately.
